Manager – Lpg Sales & Distribution

Location: Central Africa

Reporting to the General Manager, Downstream Operations. The Sales & Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for the day to day commercial operations of a Liquefied Petroleum Gas Plant.

Responsibilities:

·         Establish, Follow and Develop a significant portfolio of clients in specific geographical zones. Prepare quotations for clients, detect their needs and formulate satisfying strategies in coordination with the Management. Monitor and manage a full system of safety indoor and outdoor environments. Manage and monitor the delivery lines to ensure the top quality delivery at the right time in safety condition and suggesting corrective measures if necessary. Survey and study the market, get to know risk factors and competition while searching for new clients and prospective ones. Produce a daily or weekly report to the Management. Manage a team of distributors and follow up their performance and accuracy, team meeting. Maintain and visit the clients regularly and follow up the consumption of the client. Analyze financial results with the Management. Suggest and participate in implementing new strategies. Conduct feasibility studies for new and existing clients. Coordinate with the advertising companies for advertisement, promotional items and marketing tools. Handle vacations, attendance, performance and commissions of the team. Credit control.

Qualifications & Other Prerequisites:

·         Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or any other related field; Bachelors’ degree in Commerce, Business Administration or other relevant field; Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage ; At least 10 years relevant experience in sales. Experience in logistics, Distribution Channel, Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) will be an added advantage. Proven intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources; proven ability to think strategically and design long term plans; Strong organizational skills; Superior Communication skills both written and oral. Swahili or French is Essential.

General Manager – LPG Operation - Central Africa

GENERAL MANAGER – LPG

Location: Central Africa

Experience: At least 15 years relevant experience in sales, 5 of which must be at managerial level.

Reporting to the Managing Director, Downstream Operations. The ideal candidate will take overall charge of growing and managing the LPG business

Responsibilities:

Developing and implementing strategies for growing the LPG business; Planning and implementing sales, customer retention and development strategies; Identifying high potential outlets and other business development opportunities; Overseeing the process of carrying out market research, gathering market intelligence and customer surveys; Ensuring compliance to SHEQ standards and compliance to ISO procedures related to LPG section; Preparing reports on LPG business including sales volumes, margins and regional analysis; and Mentoring and Coaching staff; Preparing and monitoring the departmental budget; Responsible for overall P&L of LPG business

LPG (Gas) Bottle Filler - Central Africa

Location: Central Africa

Experience: 5-10 Years

Education: Any graduate

Description:

Understands technical & Safety aspects of gas off-loading when delivery comes and re-filling of gas cylinders for selling in the market. Cylinder size are 3kd, 6kg, 9kg, 12kg. etc.

Fit and active person to do gas filling, general laboring, forklift driving and other duties for a gas supplier. You will be a reliable and responsible team member.
