Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control (QC) Engineer/Manager specializing in electrical projects to oversee and ensure compliance with quality standards in transmission line and substation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in electrical quality control, ensuring project execution aligns with industry regulations and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement quality control procedures for electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Conduct inspections, audits, and testing of electrical systems in transmission lines and substations.
• Identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring adherence to project specifications.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to maintain quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, reports, and compliance records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical guidance and training to project teams on quality control measures.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors to ensure material and workmanship quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of electrical quality control standards in transmission line and substation projects.
• Experience in inspection, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Requirements : 
• Should have 15+ years of experience in handling Transmission Line Projects and substation projects.
• Project Head is responsible for end-to-end execution of one or more specific projects at a given time. This includes handling all technical, financial and commercial aspects of the project from the time the contract is signed until the point that the project is completed and handed over to the client.
• Take responsibility and ownership for executing the project end-to-end and for delivery of project on time with good quality.
• Ensure that drawings are obtained from design team. Review and approve drawings prior to submission to client and monitor and review all rework and resubmissions until final approval is obtained.
• Ensure resource mobilization for the project at various stages, as required.
• Present project status updates to the management team during management review meetings
• Conduct weekly review meetings with site team.
• Ensure that site team and workmen are motivated and engaged.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written report writing skills.

Education: Minimum Bachelor of Engineering/B Tech (Electrical)

 

Age: Between 27 to 32 (7 to 10years of Experience)

 

Job description:

Must have an experience of Survey Transmission Line and 220 KV Substation (220KV & Above), MV Substations (6.6 KV & Above) & Overhead Transmission Line up to 220KV and Also good knowlage about Auto cad Drawings making.

Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.

Determine longitudes and latitudes of important features and boundaries in survey areas using the odolites, transits, levels, and satellite-based global positioning systems (GPS) Search legal records, survey records, and land titles to obtain information about boundaries, Substation Plotting, Transmission Line survey etc.

Lead the Execution Team to Start the Erection work

Working experience in Profile Study, Route Alignment, Contour Survey, Stub Setting etc.

Can operation Total Station machine and other required GPS gadgets.

Making Contour /Auto cad Drawings etc.
