Extensive experience with Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro,
After Effects and InDesign specifically with mock-ups, wireframes,
infographics, social media banners and posts, web design and multimedia
presentations
Experience with professional
commercial designs, preferably with a marketing or creative agency
Adaptive design eye and skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers and
clients
Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
Able to give and receive constructive
criticism
Key
Responsibility Areas (KRAs):
Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects based on
current client workload
Create visual aspects of marketing materials, websites and other
media, including infographics and social media posts and campaigns
Put together disparate elements of a design created by another
professional such as icons, photographs and other components necessary to
create a design as per given brief
Consult with clients’ marketing, copywriting and sales teams to
create cohesive designs that reflect company culture and marketing goals
Plan concepts by studying information and materials
Illustrate concepts by designing rough layouts of art and copy
regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic
concepts
Obtain approval of concept by submitting rough layout for approval
Study design briefs and determine requirements
Schedule projects and work within mandated deadlines
Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using pertinent
software
Use the appropriate colours and layouts for each graphic
Work with the various teams within the organisation when need be
Test graphics across various media
Amend designs after feedback
Ensure final graphics and layouts are
visually appealing and on-brand
