Job Overview:

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draftsman Civil to join our team for residential projects. The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years of experience in architectural drafting, designing, and planning residential buildings. Junior candidates with 1-2 years of experience or freshers with a strong portfolio and relevant education may also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare detailed architectural drawings and plans for residential projects

- Collaborate with senior architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure design accuracy

- Interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings

- Assist in preparing project documentation, including permits, specifications, and construction documents

Qualifications:

- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field

- 5-8 years of experience in architectural drafting and design (junior candidates with 1-2 years of experience or freshers with a strong portfolio may also be considered)

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or other relevant design software

Qualification: B.E (Mech)/B.Tech (Mech)

 

Year of Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in HVAC System Design and application in reputed Design consultants. Experience in Industrial Buildings will be preferred.

 

Knowledge:

Good exposure in HVAC Systems Low and High Side Works.

Good knowledge on ASHRAE/ ISHRAE and NBC Standards.

 

Software & Tools:

REVIT MEP (preferable, not mandatory)

CAD software like AutoCAD

Heat Load Calculation Software like HAP, TRACE, IES

 

Functional Skills requirements:

Project Scheduling

Coordinate with Design Team on gathering inputs and requirements

Preparation of area summary and space planning

Heat load calculations, using HAP

Energy Simulations, using HAP / Tracer / Energyplus

Preparation of detailed DBR and Technical Specification

Preparation of construction drawings 8) Condenser & chilled water pipe sizing

Technical Drawing & Specification review and approval

Coordinate with other project teams

Site visit and quality checks

Witnessing Testing and commissioning

Preparing a list of detailed deliverables like the Project schedule and Concept

Core Activities / Tasks (Principal Accountabilities) / Key Responsibilities  

Understand the user needs, prepare proposals, scope documents, and estimates and take approval from the Management and Should be able to lead the team and ensure to complete the assigned tasks as per time lines.

Float tenders, receive quotations, technical and price evaluation, negotiate the project costing.

Ensure to Lead the Manpower and Contractors to get the timely job done as per the standards set by Mgmt.

Monitor/Co-ordinate/ execute/inspect/commission internal existing projects (If any).

Ensure adherence to safety norms by employees.

Ensure to have Project related completed documentation.

Prepare Periodical MIS reports for ongoing projects and its progress and expenses and submission to Mgmt to review and further guidance / Advice.

Manage processes and documentation as per IMS requirements / ISO Standards.

Managing of Site Manpower, Contractors with adequate Safety standards and should be able to liaise with all the stake holders including Statutory Authorities.

Any other associated tasks and responsibilities assigned from time to time (Ad-hoc) .
