Job Description:
If you have a good understanding
of electrical engineering/Mechanical Engineering and sales experience, this
could be of interest to you. Our Client’s requires a Business Development
Manager (Mining), to increase profitable sales through the development of
established customers and the targeting and converting of new customers, in new
and existing market sectors.
Responsibilities of the role:
- Produce detailed action plans and devise various strategies to meet the sales goals.
- Produce accurate and detailed reports.
- Assist in the development and execution of the sales and marketing plans to deliver the business strategy.
- Ability to work with a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work under own initiative, as well as accurately keeping to defined plans and specifications, to prioritise workload
Requirements for the role:
- Electrical engineering knowledge
- Masters in Electrical engineer or equivalent
- Experience in the mining industry preferred
- Sales/business development experience specifically in Chemicals. Added exposure to Oil/Lubricants will be an advantage
- Commercial and financial acumen
- Available to work flexible hours
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently
- Current driving license
- Willingness to work in different provinces of DRC.
- Who is proficient in English/Afrikaans communication, French would be an added advantage.
