Job Description:

To receive the engineering and project materials/spares.

To ensure safety unloading of spares.

To arrange and store material/spares at proper location with identification for inspection.

To prepare Good Receipt Note for material received at site on basis of supplier Delivery Challan/Invoice and purchase order.

To maintain the inward register for tracking of spares and send daily report to all users.

To forward all documents of received spares along with consignment like duplicate for transport to excise department and invoices to account department.

To Co-ordinate with concern departments for clearing the GRN.

To prepare the delivery challan and gate pass for returnable and non-returnable gate pass.

To monitor issue of capital, spare and consumable material on basis of reservation.

To maintain the inventory of stock.

To maintain all the documentation related to spares/material.

To maintain Environment, Health and Safety in store.

The Estimation Executive will be responsible for consistency and efficient delivery of technical proposal by best industrial practice and accurate methods, also responsible for driving excellence in health and safety, ensuring that risks are minimized in the design process.

 

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY

Organizes and holds the bid/tender kick-off meeting.

Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and pre-qualifications;

and contract review;

Liaise with HEMM Suppliers to understand the requirement of Insurance & normal operating Spares

Study the consumption pattern of Spares for different categories of HEMM

Prepare Spares requirement for each Category of HEMM and co-ordinate with the Procurement department to ensure Spares availability

Interact with Maintenance & Operation Shift In-charges to get feedback on pending maintenance jobs with priorities and review Shift Logbooks & Maintenance records  with a view to understanding reasons for the breakdown

Prepare Checklist for monitoring Equipment healthiness and liase with Shop floor In-charges for  implementation

Monitor utilization of manpower to achieve optimum results.

Plan for daily, weekly & monthly Maintenance schedules & activities.

PROCUREMENT ENGINEER - MECHANICAL

Main Duties:

·         The main purpose of the Procurement Engineer will be to lead efforts in exploring, initiating, developing, and validating opportunities in vendor development, quality improvements and cost savings and other sourcing related opportunities. The individual in this role will act as the technical interface between suppliers and Project Managers to determine new and alternate sources.

·         Continuous involvement in the Supplier Selection Process to develop a supply base that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery and technology.

·         With particular focus on construction/ Project management, review supplier’s processes and identify improvement opportunities in processes and systems at supplier locations to improve quality, cost and flow of supplied materials throughout the entire supply chain.
