⚙️ What You’ll Be Driving

✨ Process Optimization & Performance

• Analyze metallurgical performance across plant operations
• Improve metal recovery to maximum achievable levels
• Ensure stable plant throughput at or above design capacity

📊 Technical Excellence

• Deep understanding of:
  • Leaching kinetics (acid consumption, recovery optimization)
  • Solvent Extraction (SX) – O/A ratio, phase separation, crud control
  • Electrowinning (EW) – current density, voltage, cathode quality

⚖️ Metal Accounting

• Maintain accurate monthly metal balance
• Identify losses and implement corrective actions

🔧 Continuous Improvement

• Reduce acid & reagent consumption (5–10%)
• Optimize energy usage in EW
• Drive process innovation and efficiency projects

📘 Systems & Compliance

• Develop and maintain SOPs & Work Instructions
• Ensure 100% safety compliance & PPE adherence
• Work closely with maintenance & service teams

Mineral Process Engineer

Experience: 10+ Years

Location: Central Africa

 

Qualification: B.E/B.Tech Chemical/ Metallurgy/ Mineral processing

 

Job responsibility:

12 years of experience in operation of beneficiation plant (Heavy minerals experience will be added advantage)

Experience in operating and maintenance of tailing dam

Experience in Stockpile management and grade control 

Monitoring the met report and maximize the recovery.

Project experience in the beneficiation plant – brown field/ green field project

Optimize the operational parameters by designing the plant equipment & mass balancing 

Achieving the KPI as per the target

Addressing safety and occupational health issues and safety features in all equipment and plant

Grade control by blending of mineral to maintain the cutoff grade to the plant.

Manpower management to ensure maximum output from workers.

Job description:

Candidate Having the knowledge of Operation of Copper Extrusion Machine of Copper, Aluminium & Brass

Candidate Having the knowledge of the basic check points and maintain to avoid the breakdowns.

Candidate must have the able to follow instructions and production schedules.

Candidate should have been multiskilled for other machines like Billet cutting & belly machine & Electric Furnace

Candidate should have been ready to operate other machines also as per requirement.

Candidate should have knowledge of Computer -operated equipment.

Candidate should be responsible for the production target of his Shift as per the planning

Candidate should have Knowledge of production procedures & follow the Safety rules.

Candidate should be responsible to keep the 5S of their respective operation area.

Candidate also be basic Knowledge of tool & dies of machines and its uses.
