Requirements:
 Excellent understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 
 Excellent grasp of Financial and Management Accounting; Taxation and relevant legislation. 
 Knowledge of accounting principles and practice and the analysis and reporting of financial data.  Knowledge of regulatory requirements and regulations related to the financial sector. 
 Sound knowledge of macroeconomic and microeconomic environment. 
 Project management skills. 
 Ability to lead, influence and drive change initiatives in support of business strategies within the department. 
 Strong leadership skills to foster teamwork; develop and motivate staff, resolve conflicts as well as ability to provide direction, guidance, momentum and vision in order to achieve organizational objectives. 
 Demonstrated business acumen - able to create strategy and actions that influence business success. 
 Strong communication and presentation skills including ability to develop proposals, concept papers, position papers as well as write reports and prepare relevant publications.

Main Tasks/Duties and Responsibilities Responsibility towards mining Team

Manage the overall development, co-ordination, performance, management, maintenance and improvement of mining work at specified locations and on allocated projects

Responsibility for ensuring the safe and economically viable development of mining operations and surface developments, performing the prescribed tasks to meet targets and deadlines

Direct the development of projects to achieve targets

Assist in developing plans for progress and growth, including best practice and technology

Manage and maintain excellent operations and standards

Ensure that the team is focused and deliver key priorities while maintaining high standards of health and safety

To assist in the setting of budgets for projects and then to adhere to budget constraints and targets, undertaking regular reviews as required

Risk management, including monitoring performance against targets, to achieve maximum profitability by providing savings in operational costs

Oversee mining production process and provide appropriate instructions to designated teams

Ensure all projects adhere to all aspects of safety issues, including mining equipment.

Overall responsibility for costing/supply/budgetary reviews

Ensure compliance with recognised quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety

Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager

The tasks a Concrete Mixer Operator is expected to perform include: Operating small portable power-driven concrete mixing machine to mix dry cement, sand, gravel and water for making concrete or cement mortar

Starting motor and rotation of mixing drum

Feeding materials (sand, gravel and cement) in proper proportion into mixing drum, using shovel or by manipulating lever that controls feeding

Discharging concrete from drum by tilting drum or by opening the discharge chute

Knowledge of admitting measured amount of water into drum

Allowing drum to rotate for specified time for proper mixing of materials into concrete

Well-versed in cleaning interior with water and removes adhering concrete

Proficient running repairs
