Experience: 8-10 years in the fields/s of Tendering,
BID management, and costing_

Job Role Description (in short):
Sales & business development in Mines/EPC(Mechanical/Electrical)/UN
organizations and local government entities.
Prepare a Pre-Qualification dossier and liaised with the
different clients
Identifying Market Potential, Project Investments for
upcoming Projects.
Preparation of a Strategic & Workable Business Plan;
encapsulating realistic business acquisition targets.
Analyze new Project Enquiries for upcoming projects and
track projects funded by funding agencies
Assessing the inquiries including preparation of a summary
of scope; managed Tender Proposals for Engineering Consultancy Services &
EPC Projects.
Tender review records after proper assessment of the RFQ.
Follow up with the clients & subcontractors for the new
opportunities and submitted offers.
Coach the team members to collate winning techno-commercial
proposals based on the pricing policy and contingencies. Coordination with
Finance Department to get the Bank Guarantee and other financial instruments
required on time during the bidding.
Identify contract execution risks, analyze probability and
potential severity of each risk, and provided contingency costs for risks
Foster business relationships with the other major
engineering contractors, and consultants to expand the business avenues for
working in consortium with the objective of bringing in revenue and maintaining
the bottom line of the company.
Manage end-to-end functions of supplies & EPC business
development across verticals.
Expand business in the assigned territories and consistently
improve the profitability of the company; identified new project business
opportunities.
Formulate business goals, short-term and long-term budgets,
and developed business plans for its accomplishment
Design successful business expansion strategies using
customer & market feedback
Establish alliances/tie-ups with key EPC players/Technology
partners/Equipment manufacturers serving the process industries resulting in
deeper market penetration and reach.
Manage commercial closure of projects with support for
P&L responsibility
Participate in techno-commercial discussion &
negotiation with clients and determine a win-win situation for both
Spearhead vendor registration function, facilitating the
Sales department for new product approvals/ acceptance with clients, utilities,
engineering consultants & end users.
Language Know: Fluency in English and Swahili/French ( Will
be a added advantage)
