Role Objective
We are seeking a highly qualified and strategic Senior
Agri-Knowledge Specialist to spearhead our agricultural advisory services.
This pivotal role bridges traditional agronomic science with modern,
technology-driven interventions. The ideal candidate will possess deep
expertise in crop cultivation, soil science, precision fertilizer management,
and sustainable farming, with a proven ability to translate scientific data
into practical field solutions that optimize crop productivity and soil health.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical
Advisory & Innovation: Provide advanced technical guidance on crop
cultivation by seamlessly integrating traditional agricultural wisdom with
modern, high-yield farming techniques.
- Soil
Health & Nutrient Management: Formulate strategic recommendations
for organic, inorganic, and advanced fertilizer applications. Oversee the
interpretation of soil analysis reports to enhance long-term soil
fertility and structure.
- Scientific
Analysis: Evaluate soil classification, texture, pH levels, and
erosion control methods to implement localized conservation strategies.
- Cross-Regional
Advisory: Provide specialized farming insights tailored to varied
agricultural landscapes (including North/South Indian agronomic profiles
and adapting them to global/regional operations).
- Field
Leadership & Capacity Building: Empower and upskill field teams
and local farming communities through structured technical training
programs, hands-on field visits, and data-driven advisory.
- Sustainable
& Precision Farming: Drive the adoption of precision agriculture,
data-centric farming solutions, and sustainable frameworks aligned with
international standards.
Required Qualifications & Profile
Education & Credentials
- B.Sc.
Agriculture or M.Sc. Agriculture from a premier, recognized
agricultural university or institution.
Experience & Skills
- Managerial
Experience: Proven track record in a managerial or senior advisory
role within the agricultural sector, demonstrating the ability to guide
high-performing field teams.
- Commercial
Acumen: Strong understanding of agribusiness dynamics, including input
cost structures, crop economics, market demands, and ROI-driven farming
solutions.
- Communication
& Execution: Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with
a demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively between research teams,
field staff, and local stakeholders.
- Strategic
Planning: Competence in monitoring, auditing, and optimizing team
performance against core agricultural and business development objectives.
