GENERAL MANAGER – LPG
Location: Central Africa
Experience: At least 15 years relevant experience in sales, 5 of which must be at managerial level.
Reporting to the Managing Director, Downstream Operations. The ideal candidate will take overall charge of growing and managing the LPG business
Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing strategies for growing the LPG business; Planning and implementing sales, customer retention and development strategies; Identifying high potential outlets and other business development opportunities; Overseeing the process of carrying out market research, gathering market intelligence and customer surveys; Ensuring compliance to SHEQ standards and compliance to ISO procedures related to LPG section; Preparing reports on LPG business including sales volumes, margins and regional analysis; and Mentoring and Coaching staff; Preparing and monitoring the departmental budget; Responsible for overall P&L of LPG business
Qualifications & Other Prerequisites:
Masters’ degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management or any other related field; Bachelors’ degree in Commerce, Business Administration or other relevant field; Diploma in Sales and Marketing will be an added advantage ; At least 15 years relevant experience in sales, 5 of which must be at managerial level. Experience in logistics, Distribution Channel, Experience in Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) will be an added advantage. Proven intellectual leadership in managing people, operations and financial resources; proven ability to think strategically and design long term plans; Strong organizational skills; Superior Communication skills both written and oral. Swahili or French is Essential.
