Experience: 5-10 years (Beverage production line)
Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the production floor: Ensure all aspects of the production process run smoothly. Manage specific aspects of production, such as warehousing of products or incoming raw materials.
Monitor and manage production efficiency: Ensure the production process meets budgetary requirements. Take responsibility for headcount budget conformance and drive cost-saving initiatives across the facility or within a specific department.
Provide leadership and drive performance excellence: Demonstrate effective leadership throughout the facility and improve overall staff performance.
Monitor staff performance: Evaluate staff members to make decisions regarding training and employment. Ensure site and team KPIs are consistently achieved.
Create staff training initiatives: Ensure new staff are sufficiently trained and supervised. Create initiatives to improve staff skills and production processes.
Report to department heads: Meet with senior management to report on staffing changes, production concerns, and budget conformance. Design cost-saving initiatives in conjunction with senior leadership.
Ensure resource availability: Ensure all resources used in the production process (raw materials, bottles, packaging, transportation, warehouse space) are available and monitor their levels and efficiency.
Meet production requirements: Ensure production targets (including safety targets, capacity improvement targets, and cost targets) are met at the facility.
Coordinate incoming and outgoing stock: Ensure necessary production resources arrive and finished products leave the facility in a timely fashion.
Education Requirements:
B.Tech, BE, or Diploma in Mechanical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Technology.
Work Experience:
Minimum 5 years of experience managing an efficient production line.
Previous experience working in a beverage, brewery, winery, or distillery environment is required.
Experience in managing native/local staff.
Experience in maintaining maintenance schedules and spare parts management.
Proven ability to efficiently troubleshoot breakdowns during the shift.
