HDPE Pipe Technician- (Welder)
Department: Engineering Service- Maintenance
Reporting To: Section I/c- Mechanical Maintenance
Planning: -
1. Maintain
Tools & tackles – HDPE Welding Machine & other related items etc etc.
2. SOP
guidelines & Job Description.
3. Maintain
consumables for Welding.
Job Description: -
1. Check
daily health condition for allocated equipment’s.
2. HDPE Pipe
Welding & HDPE Geo Membrane- Sheet welding.
3. For HDPE
Welder & Fitter both are one person- Fitter must have to weld pipes.
4. Good exp.
In HDPE machine Manual, Semi-Auto (Hot plate & hydraulic) & Extrude gun
machine.
5. Good exp.
In HDPE pipe dia- 15mm to 600mm.
6. HDPE pipe
measurements & cab ne read drawing ISOMETRIC/GA.
7. Cab be
weld in Pipe racks, Drains- height Job
8. Welding
experienced in Petro-chemical & Fertilizers, Chemical lines, Dewatering
lines
9. Welder
test must be required with certificated by third agency.
10. Maintenance
experienced technician- can be do job in tight time schedule for plant
operation.
11. Can be
weld in Field & shop joints.
12. Housekeeping
must be required after job finish.
13. Can be
work in Day- Night shift & mining environment.
Key Responsibilities: -
1. Responsible
for Job allocated by Shift I/c.
2. Responsible
for allocated Welding machine & related items.
3. Responsible
for Job Quality.
4. Joints
must be clear inspected.
5. Responsible
for trained National HDPE technician.
6. Responsible
for Good Housekeeping & stand-alone welding job- No special helper will
provide.
7. Do job as
per safety parameters
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Educational Qualification: ITI & Can be Read & Right
any language
Work Experience: 8-10 years exp. HDPE Technician
Behavioural Competencies: Can be work in group/team & No
time limits for Maintenance.
