HVAC Design Engineer - Central Africa

 HVAC Design Engineer

 

Location: Central Africa

 

Qualification: B.E (Mech)/B.Tech (Mech)

 

Year of Experience: 7 to 10 years of experience in HVAC System Design and application in reputed Design consultants. Experience in Industrial Buildings will be preferred.

 

Knowledge:

Good exposure in HVAC Systems Low and High Side Works.

Good knowledge on ASHRAE/ ISHRAE and NBC Standards.

 

Software & Tools:

REVIT MEP (preferable, not mandatory)

CAD software like AutoCAD

Heat Load Calculation Software like HAP, TRACE, IES

 

Functional Skills requirements:

Project Scheduling

Coordinate with Design Team on gathering inputs and requirements

Preparation of area summary and space planning

Heat load calculations, using HAP

Energy Simulations, using HAP / Tracer / Energyplus

Preparation of detailed DBR and Technical Specification

Preparation of construction drawings 8) Condenser & chilled water pipe sizing

HVAC equipment selection

Quantification of HVAC services

Technical Drawing & Specification review and approval

Coordinate with other project teams

Site visit and quality checks

Witnessing Testing and commissioning

Preparing a list of detailed deliverables like the Project schedule and Concept

Design Documents, Tender, BOQ, budget, etc.

Job description:

Completion of Mechanical work (Equipments erection & Commissioning) as per Project Schedule.

Completion of work Mechanical work (Equipments erection & Commissioning) as per Project Schedule, Budget and Quality.

On completion of Mechanical work (Equipments erection & Commissioning) work on project schedule, Plant will be commissioned on schedule.

Ramp up Mechanical (Equipments erection & Commissioning) work as per requirement of Project Schedule.

Execute Mechanical work (Equipments erection & Commissioning) as per Project Schedule, Budget and Quality requirements.

Mechanical & Engineering Co-ordination team

Project Execution (Engineering & Procurement Co-ordination, Erection & Commissioning Mechanical Equipments like Ball Mill, Jaw Crusher, Cone Crusher, Vibrating Screens, Conveyors, Thickener Rake Mechanism, Agitators, Slurry Pumps, Clear Liquid Pumps) of large-scale Mineral processing, Metallurgical & Chemical Processing Plant.

Experience in of green field and brown field projects

Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Review & Approval of vendor’s drawings & documents.

Execution of Equipment Erection & commissioning work as per drawing & Project Schedule.

Monitor Quality & related documentation.

Verification & Certification of contractor invoices

Cost Estimation & Budget Planning for Mechanical Work.

Prepare & Submit reports on a daily/weekly basis.
