Person worked on multi domain environment for ERP Implementation

Understanding of different departments and processes such as Customer Relationship Management, Production, Manufacturing, Human Resources Management, Supply Management, Finance, Inventory, Purchase, etc. is important

Should have sound technical as well as functional skill including familiarity with the latest business intelligence tools.

Odoo ERP Implementation must

3 to 4 years supervisory experience will have an advantage.

 

Functional responsibility would be as below:

Job Description: Senior Oracle EBS Developer

Location: Uganda – Entebbe

Type: Contract for 6months

·         Assist with analyzing and reviewing software, data migration, and integration requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and budget constraints. This includes data cleansing, data mapping, data transformation and data loading to staging area

·         Develop and optimize PL/SQL code, database functions, packages and stored procedures

·         Co-ordinate with Client’s development team, project team members, functional SMEs, for gathering business requirements and proposing sustainable solution

·         Work closely with functional and technical team to clarify requirements, troubleshoot issues, provide testing support and generally translate requirements into code

·         Guide and provide technical support and training to the Client’s system architect and IT staff

·         Perform unit, system and integration testing associated to Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules and corresponding system interface areas

·         Develop associated Oracle E-Business Suite documentation including but not limited to technical requirements, design, code testing and end user documents, etc.

·         Attend and participate in requisite project and operational meetings and work sessions and provide timely updates on work performed to peers, management and the Client’s IT staff

·         Design and implement Oracle Applications extensions as necessary

·         Work collaboratively with project stakeholders to design and develop components of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture to support current and future business needs such as system integration and system interoperability features

·         Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including development, deployment, testing and support of the application

·         Be familiar with the Oracle Unified Methodology (OUM)

·         Communicate with the customer for collecting the enhancement requirement and document the same

·         Prepare the impact analysis document and high-level design for any new system requirement

·         Prepare the Functional and Technical Design document (OUM templates)

·         Conversant with Oracle EBS Concurrent Programs registration and maintenance, as well as with Concurrent Manager concepts

·         Migration of codes through the SDLC upon successful testing and approval

·         Co-ordinate with the clients for System test and User Acceptance Test of new code

·         Response, Resolution and Closure of Incidents/Change Requests after confirmation of issue resolved from Business

·         Maintain different versions of code, analysis, design and requirements for each stage of the SDLC

·         Responsible for leading all integration efforts between various internal/external systems across multiple Client’s departments

·         Manage and lead team of one junior Oracle Developer

Qualifications:

·         8+ Years’ of hands-on development experience within an Oracle E-Business Suite environment is mandatory

·         Familiarity with Oracle E-Business data model, table structures, APIs, interfaces and system integration points are mandatory

·         Oracle development expertise dealing with Financials, Human Resource, Procurement and Supply Chain Management modules

·         In-depth understanding of Oracle Database concepts, good SQL and PL/SQL programing skills with ability to write complex and optimized PL/SQL code

·         Capable to troubleshoot his/her own code for optimal system performance

·         Hard worker and performer despite time constraints and delivery pressure

·         Exposure to SOA architecture is a must

·         Proficiency with agile or lean development practices is a plus

·         Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·         Ability to manage multiple assignments
