Qualifications Required;

·         Diploma in Engineering preferably civil engineering

·         3 years’ minimal experience working in a construction industry

·         Bachelor’s degree/ Higher Diploma in Civil Engineering as an added advantage

·         Project management skills

·         Use of engineering software i.e. AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, ms project etc.

Experience Required: minimum 10 years

Any Specific Skills Required:

Experience in the residential construction industry

Brief Job Description:

·         Oversee, manage & direct construction projects from beginning to end

·         Review & monitor the project in depth

·         Ensure scheduler of all the deliverable

·         Budget planning and cost estimation

·         Track site inventory

·         Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status

·         Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging one

·         Monitor & guide compliance with building & safety regulation

·         Train and give feedback to construction workers and sub-contractors

·         Ensure the availability of tools, materials and equipment

·         Manage & mitigate risks

·         Always ensure quality construction standards & following proper engineering procedures

·         Understand project scope and vision, and ensure implementation

·         Create the schedule for each project and match to the job

·         Process change orders

·         Collaborate with the architect construction crew to ensure feasibility of each project

·         Conduct meeting on site with architect, client and construction crew

·         Negotiate with subcontractors

·         Prepare and submit estimates to client

·         Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives

·         Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

·         Measure project performance using appropriate tools and technique

·         Create & maintain comprehensive project documentation

Key Responsibilities:

Mechanical spares planning

Shutdown planning

Manpower planning

Key Skills/Abilities:

·         Mechanical spares planning of common Spares and consumables for the whole plant and distribution of the spares to respective sections of the plant based on the consumption pattern of each section.

·         Accumulation of maintenance data from each section of the plant and preparing daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance report

·         Monthly and annual shutdown planning with consultation of each section head and arranging the tools & tackles, consumables, required manpower for the shutdown.

·         Co-ordination with stores to maintain minimum and maximum stock of the consumables, tools & tackles and critical mechanical spares.

·         Knowledge of MS project, primavera, ERP system will be an added advantage

Experience Required (state experience and also from which industry the experience would be preferred)

·         Minimum five years of experience in the field of Mechanical maintenance & spares planning of Mineral processing plant consisting of Crushers, conveyors, screens, ball mill, thickeners, agitators, slurry pumps, filter press, Horizontal belt filter, spin flash dryer etc.

·         The position shall have reporting to Head Mechanical maintenance

Qualifications: Graduate in Civil Engineering. Post graduate qualification in Project Planning is desirable.

Knowledge and experience in Primavera, MS Projects and MS Office is essential.

Job Description:

Prepare and update project schedule based on the contract.

Set work program and target milestones for each phase based on the project plan.

Monitor critical activities based on the project schedule and advise project management.

Prepares and submit updated work program and cash flow curve showing actual progress and identify areas of weakness and establishes means and methods for recovery, if any, as well as new critical activities.

Monitor day to day work progress and prepare the weekly and monthly program and report.

Maintain and record update of site work progress obtained from Project Manager.

Prepares monthly report reflecting work progress summary.

Report to the Project Manager about the current work progress and make comparison between plan and actual progress and study impact of alternative approaches to work.

Participate in project meetings and discussions with the Client as required.

Assists in preparing work program, cash flow and manpower histogram for tenders.
