Experience: 5-15 Years

Educational Qualification: B.E (Mech/Civil) /B. Tech (Mech/Civil) with specific courses on Materials Management.

Job Description:

·         Liaise with customers, suppliers and transport companies

·         Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage and FIFO issue of goods

·         Use space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, making sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met

·         Have a clear understanding of the company's policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these

·         Coordinate the use of automated and computerized systems where necessary

·         Respond to and deal with user communication/complaints by email and telephone

·         Keep stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate

·         Plan future capacity requirements of general consumables

·         Organize the recruitment and training of staff, as well as monitoring staff performance and progress

·         Motivate, organise and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded

·         Produce regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis

·         Brief team leaders on a daily basis

·         Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stock such as chemicals and food are stored safely

·         Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment

Skills requirements are as per followings.

·         Establish/Enhance Material/Store Management system.

·         Monitor/Review unloading procedure.

·         Monitor/Review Process of receipt and storage of material.

·         Monitor/Review Inspection/Analysis Process of received material/chemical/fuel.

·         Monitor/ Review Material issue process.

·         Planning for utilization of storage space, segregation of material.

·         Inventory control/optimization ( by establishing category -Insurance/Critical/Non-Critical/consumables)

·         Establish Min/max stock level fast-moving & general items along with end-user.

·         Maintain min/critical stock for reagents/chemicals.

·         Experience/Understanding of ERP system.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage Warehouse.

Controlling all the Inbound, Outbound and inventory activities

Monitoring of all warehouse activities – receipt and dispatch

Coordinate with technical purchase & take up charge of material once cleared technically.

Coordinate with suppliers and local transporters for delivery point of view

Coordinate with Client for unloading point of view and safe receipt of materials.

Coordinate with freight forwarder for providing required documents for export.

Maintain reports in Talley

Manage stocks of items

Support Senior Accountant for GST related transactions and documents preparation.

Support Senior Accountant for Preparation of invoice for exports and documents related to exports to freight forwarder.

Other duties as deemed appropriate

 

SKILLS and QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor of Commerce

Experience 2-3 years in handling warehouse, Tally, GST.

Periodically verification of physical stock.
Communication with different goods transporter for supplies the booked materials.
Maintaining material records of master data in (Tally ERP.9, SAP MM Module, MS Excel)
Checking and validating storage security.
Preparation MIS report of Monthly/quarterly /half yearly & yearly basis
Maintenance of stores as per location code & Implement FIFO.
Responding to the management & reporting daily status of the concern head.
Materials Storage & Preservation Work.
