Group Manager – Corporate Finance & Banking - Central Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         Should have exposure in banking and fund raising (preferred experience in fund raising specifically for mining industry)

·         Able to talk and meet with bankers and funders and explain the group objectives and segment wise funding requirements and situation

·         Able to monitor on actual and expectation with the finance institution.

·         Will work on project funding and until the project is completed, or any improvement task, he will lead that team to ensure funds are availed on time and used as per plan and project financial impact.

·         This team member activities will be to raise funds and monitor until full implementation of projects and funding as required

·         Will be a contact person for banking relation and other institution / traders coming to Base location and meet them on behalf of the Chairman and Canada office 

·         Exposure to preparing investment materials and various financial models with analytical skills.

·         Responsible for coordinating financial planning, analysis and reporting related to all Group Banking and Financial Activities.

·         Specific job duties for VPs of corporate finance include developing financial operating reports, such as annual plans, quarterly forecasts, periodic reviews and updates

·         Prepare or review financial analysis as requested by senior management, market leaders, Portfolio Management, Treasury or Blackstone related to acquisitions, dispositions, major leases, developments, debt financings and joint ventures.

·         Prepare or review portfolio trend and variance analysis related to gross leasing, market rates, net operating income and other relevant metrics.

·         Advising about how to meet targets and create investment capital, generating finance from different sources, gathering, analyzing and interpreting complicated numerical information

Dozer Operators - Central Africa

Dozer Operators

Location: Central Africa

Experience: 5-10 Year experience

Accountabilities:

Performs all duties and activities in a manner that conforms to site specific safety requirements, company policy, state and federal regulations.

Operates dozer to gouge, cut, level and distribute earth to build roadways, prepare benches, etc. Maneuvers tractor by moving levers and depressing pedals so as to make the right depth of cut. Drives dozer in successive passes to raise or lower to desired grade which may be marked by grade stakes or provided by hand signals.

May connect hydraulic hoses, belts, mechanical linkage or power takeoff shaft to provide power.

Mounts and dismounts equipment by climbing or descending the boarding ladder or steps.

May operate scarifier (ripper) or similar machinery to loosen soil or ore.

Performs other duties as required.

May service equipment and perform routine repairs.

Assist mechanic with repair work.

Electrician - Residential & Industrial Projects - Central Africa

Job Location: Central Africa

Education: Associates degree or higher in Electrical Technology, or similar degree.

Exp. Required: 5-8 years

Job Purpose:

Low and medium voltage motor control systems, switchgear, transformers, substations instrument cable and signal cable

Building and area lighting systems

Electric motors and generators

Motor drives systems (synch./induction/DC/VFD)

UPS systems and other power conversion devices.

Required Qualifications:

2 or more years of experience as an electrician in an industrial, manufacturing, power plant, or electrical distribution environment.

Working knowledge of the theories and working practices of a journeyman electrician, including, but not limited to:

Operation and construction of low and medium voltage equipment, including motor starters, circuit breakers, control circuits, induction/synchronous/DC motors, motor drives, UPS systems and other power conversion devices; current transformers (CT) and voltage/potential transformers (VT/PT) circuits and basic relaying circuits; National Electrical Code

Comfortable and competent to work with energized control and protection circuits within the allowances and requirements of the Electrical Work Practices procedures

Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams as well as troubleshoot control circuits from such drawings.

Good interpersonal skills are required, both written and verbal.

The ability to work effectively in a team environment is critical.

Willing and able to take after hour call duty and work overtime per business needs.

Good working knowledge of Excel, Word, and standard software tools, etc.

Be proficient in computers to perform job tasks.

Effectively manages multiple competing priorities.

Strong troubleshooting skills.

Able to communicate with a very diverse population which is spread across the site.

Industrial Electrician - Central Africa

JOB DESCRIPTION

Install, Maintain and repair electrical systems in plants. Make sure that electrical systems are safe and running efficiently, and repair large electrical equipment, like industrial fans, large motors, or controls systems.

Install and test new equipment and systems, and repair or maintain older, pre-existing systems

EDUCATION

Good knowledge and experience electrical components in cobalt and Hydro Met Plants.

PREFERRED SKILLS

Troubleshooting: must be able to find the root cause of issues and think logically about solutions.

Critical thinking: when diagnosing problems, must think critically in their process of repairing the issue.

Mechanical skills: able to read blueprints and schematics and use an array of tools and diagnostic devices to service and install electrical parts

Must be conversant with Civil construction work of Equipment foundations, pedestals, Columns, supports etc.

Must have expertise of Structural fabrications, assembly, erection, alignment etc.

Must be well conversant of Construction of large tanks, cones, bins, chutes, and other equipment.

Must be expert of piping fabrication, erection and laying, providing supports, making interconnections, testing and charging of piping circuits.

Must have good knowledge of welding of all types of steels (MS, CS & SS), monitoring of quality and testing of welding joints.

Must be well conversant with international codes & standards, Quality assurance plans, testing methods in project construction activities,

Must be a safety master and able to implement and maintain high standards of safety at work place.

Must be a team leader and able to take out efficient work delivery from a work force.
