TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER (HEAT EXCHANGER)

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India

Education: Bachelor's Degree (B. E, B. Tech) Mechanical or Chemical Engineer

Experience:

3 to 5 years of experience heat exchanger manufacturing / Pre-sales engineering is required.

Skills: Design Knowledge, Organizational Skills, Technical Pre-sales, Heat Exchanger -Design, AutoCAD, Energy Audit.

Job Summary:

·         Under the general direction of the Project Director, the Engineer will be responsibility for the heat exchanger product line and other assigned projects. Primary focus will be pre-sales, technical sales, mechanical design, performing design calculations in accordance with the appropriate codes and standards, supervising the development of fabrication drawings. Position will work closely with the Project Engineers, Designers and CAD Technicians. Will also work closely with Project Manager and will be responsible for the coordination and resolution of project specific technical matters.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

·         Provide technical support for sales & do project cost estimate during the inquiry process.

·         Review customer specifications and project documents for incorporation into drawing notes, bill of materials and purchase specifications.

·         Interface with customer to ensure technical requirements are met.

·         Conduct technical review meetings with other departments as required.  

·         Generate specifications, and instructions necessary to convey project requirements.

·         Prepare calculations, drawings, and other technical documents

·         Transmit all technical documents to the customer

·         Support commissioning and startup of equipment in field, if required.
