Job description:

• Candidate must have experience from Mining and Mineral Processing Company

• Plan, prepare, direct and ensure effective implementation of sound financial, commercial, accounting/Audit, policies, practices & strategies in line with corporate plans

• Act as an enterprise-wide key decision supporter assisting the top management in formulating and implementing long-term and short-term strategies

• Participate and initiate plans for enhancing financial strength & overall growth of the business

• Overall responsible for supervising, managing and controlling the finance and accounts department of the Company

• Exposure of Project finance

• Managing efficiently the cost structure and optimizing costs at all times

• Preparation and timely submission of Management Information System (MIS), review and improve MIS including consolidated financials

• Preparation of Business forecasting, budgeting and rolling plans, effectiveness and monitoring process

• Responsible for accounting systems, Treasury management and cash flow planning 

• Determining financial objectives, designing & implementing systems, policies & procedures in consultation with top management to facilitate internal financial control

• Formulating business plans / strategies for maximizing profitability & revenue generation & realize organizational goals

• Review and identifying financial needs of the company and a strategy how to fund it

• Preparation and submission of monthly financial statements 

• Exposure to IFRS

• Review of operations, controls in supply chain, efficiency of operations, Controlling and monitoring all financial assets and liabilities 

• Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and accurate reporting 

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations 

• Coordinating with local authorities on various taxation, accounting and legal matters 

• Ensuring all taxation and related compliances 

• Coordinating with internal and external auditors ensuring timely completion of the audit of financial statements 

• Coordinating with all Heads of Departments for efficient operating practices 

• Implement effective staff training program wherever required in the finance and accounting department

• Carry out any other tasks assigned by top management 

• Exposure to ERP system

Core Driller - Central Africa

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain core drilling equipment to extract rock samples for geological analysis.
• Ensure safe and efficient drilling operations, following all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of drilling activities.

• Work effectively as part of a team in a remote environment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Core Driller or similar role.

• Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., HYSYS, Aspen Plus, AutoCAD).

Piping Designer (Expat) - Central Africa

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Piping Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing General Arrangement drawings, PFDs, and P&IDs, creating 3D models using CadWorx, and developing detailed fabrication drawings. This role involves maintaining drawing records, issuing approved drawings to sites, and training project personnel in AutoCAD. The Piping Designer will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of piping designs for medium to large-scale projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare General Arrangement drawings for various sections, including PFDs and P&IDs, in collaboration with the engineering team.

Create 3D models of piping and equipment using CadWorx software.

Develop piping isometrics, GADs, and BOQs.

Design General Arrangement/Layout drawings for pre-engineered buildings.

Produce fabrication drawings for tanks and pipe rack structures based on reference drawings.

Maintain a comprehensive drawing register, including revision history, and manage all IOMs/vendor drawings and manuals.

Develop schedules and lists for the completion of drawings.

Issue approved drawings to the site following department and issuing authority approvals.

Train project personnel in AutoCAD software.

 

Educational Qualifications:

B.E. Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical

 

Knowledge/Familiarity:

API 650, ASME B31.3, ASME SECTION (III) Div.1

 

Work Experience:

•           Maintains activity records logs regarding equipment and its repair, Daily reports, of Production and Breakdown Maintenance and Reasons.

•           Preventive Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, shift Controlling and Responsible for Production Target as per Machine Capacity.

•           Responsible for identifying Consumables / Spares requirements for all Production Machinery’s.

•           Ensure Safety & protection of Machinery’s.

•           Responsible for corrective action plan to reduce the breakdown.

•           Guide Maintenance technicians on day-to-day operations / challenges & train the Local people accordingly.
