Deputy Manager – Process Design
Location: Central Africa
Role Summary
Lead the development of process design and basic engineering
for mineral processing plants. You will manage the technical lifecycle from
feasibility/DPR stages through to commissioning and inter-disciplinary
coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering:
Develop PFDs, P&IDs, and detailed Mass & Water balances.
- Design:
Perform process calculations for equipment sizing and selection.
- Integration:
Provide process inputs for plant layouts and CAPEX/OPEX estimation.
- Coordination:
Act as the primary technical interface with mechanical, civil, and
electrical teams.
- Vendor
Management: Interface with OEMs, technology licensors, and test
agencies.
- On-site
Support: Assist in technical bid evaluations and plant commissioning.
Candidate Requirements
- Education:
B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering.
- Experience:
7–8 years in process engineering for mineral processing (Crushing,
Grinding, Flotation, etc.).
- Core
Skills: Expertise in basic engineering and feasibility studies.
