Job Opportunity: Used Oil Plant Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Used Oil Plant Engineer to oversee the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of our used oil refining facility. This role is critical in managing the full refining lifecycle—from initial filtration to final treatment—while ensuring high product quality and strict regulatory compliance.
Role Summary
The Used Oil Plant Engineer is responsible for the technical leadership and day-to-day operational management of the refining plant. You will ensure that production targets are met through the optimization of dehydration and distillation processes while maintaining equipment integrity and team safety.
Key Responsibilities
Process Management: Operate and monitor the complete refining cycle, including filtration, dehydration, distillation, and chemical treatment.
Operational Control: Maintain critical plant parameters, such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, ensuring they align with technical specifications.
Equipment Oversight: Ensure the smooth performance of all mechanical assets, including reactors, distillation columns, filtration systems, pumps, and storage tanks.
Production Planning: Plan and execute daily refining schedules to achieve maximum output with minimal downtime.
Quality Assurance: Monitor product quality at various stages to ensure the final refined oil meets all required industry specifications.
Leadership & Training: Supervise and provide technical guidance to plant operators, technicians, and support staff to foster a safe and efficient working environment.
Reporting: Maintain precise plant logbooks and daily production reports. Communicate performance data and operational challenges directly to management.
Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Experience: A minimum of 5–6 years of hands-on experience in used/waste oil dehydration or similar refining operations.
Technical Knowledge: Proven expertise in operating distillation columns, reactors, and high-pressure pump systems.
Software Proficiency: Skilled in MS Office (Excel/Outlook) and experience working within SAP or similar ERP systems.
