Location: Central Africa

 

Experience: 3 to 10 years’ experience working in Volvo or SANY excavator, with boom length of 5 to 7 meters

• 3 to 5 years of excavation operation in open cast mining preferably Iron ore or chromite ore Mines

 

Education: Education qualification of 10 or 12th standard, ITI or Diploma

 

Job description:

 

The Mining Mate will report directly to the shift engineer/Dy. Manager and carry out the following tasks -

• Implementing production plans, safety inspection of Mines

• Micro managing operational works, specialized jobs(pump shifting, excavation near bore holes, )

• Work along with trainers to identify operators inefficiency

• Demonstrating dual reporting system to Supervisor and Manager

• Reporting the issue at the work place, pertaining to local practices and habits

• Reporting of the on ground issues not discussed openly, biased reports due to conflicting interest at operators levels

• Reporting the issues at operational level, affecting the general work environment, assest security, fleet utilization, production plans,

• Filling up the reporting gaps between local supervisors and engineers, production hampering issues covered up due unholy partnership of staff and workmen

• Demonstrating and couching change management, administrative changes,

• Carrey out work assigned by the management during strike, work blockage or emergency

• Creating and implementing procedure for machines operation, training operator, training modules, on the job training

• Completion of mining task which requires continuity without a break

• Complesion of specific task during shift break and lunch break

• Completion of mining task which are of emergency in nature for production and Mine safety

• Reporting all unsafe practices, operating procedures,

• Investigate and write reports on machines misuse incidents, damaging incidents

• Always to be resent at operations site inspect the machines regularly and provide the feed back.

• Taking control and completion of specific excavation task by HEMM

• Taking charge of pumping arrangements inside the pit

• To liaise with supervisory staff and shift engineers
