Job Description:

The security manager will report directly to the security coordinator and carry out the following tasks:

·         Implementing plans for re-structuration

·         Creating and implementing protocols and procedures for specific sites

·         Controlling through the supervisors on a daily basis daily contractual and procedural compliance by the security contractors

·         Perform security audits on sites

·         Control supervisors activities

·         Liaising with managers at sites in order to adapt protocols and procedures

·         Identifying security breaches or gaps and practical solutions to overcome them

·         Reporting and treating all security incidents on the various sites

·         Investigate and write reports on all criminal incidents

·         Visiting all sites minimum once weekly

·         Send weekly reports for all sites

·         Establish different needs for materials radios torches etc. and submit to the security coordinator

·         MUST SPEAK and WRITE FRENCH, English and Hindi or Swahili would be an advantage

·         Ex- military background Officer or a high ranking NCO with minimum of 15 years experience

·         5 years minimum civilian security background in oil and gas or mining and heavy industry in Africa

•    Computer literate word excel etc.

·         Somebody calm and poised

·         Sharp eye with an attention to detail
