Manager: Land Clearing

Location: Central Africa

Years of Experience: 7-10 Years

Position Reports To: GM

JOB PURPOSE: Vehicle Maintenance & Harvester Operator

Job Description:

·         Must be able plan three phases of land clearing: Prior To Development, During Development & After Development

·         Sound knowledge of various mechanized way of land clearing

·         Effective planning & organization to reach yearly land clearing targets

·         Effective project management, team building & interpersonal skills

·         Ability to analyse & solve complex challenges

·         Inspect the site; assist in due diligence for new land acquisitions

·         Prepare preliminary budget and “life of project” cash flow

·         Estimate hard costs, soft cost, and carry assessment

·         Review environmental mitigation requirements

·         Tentative map/Preliminary Plat/General Plan

·         Manage day-to-day operations of engineering contractor, all other trades and development activities

·         Lead New Community Opening Meetings

·         Prepare monthly cash flow projections for development and reimbursable

·         Prepare development cash projections by month for budget

·         Must be able comply with government & environmental regulations

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Preferably BE (Mechanical) or Diploma with strong background of understanding of HEMM equipment such as excavator, dozer etc. with land clearing background.

Should be a quick thinker and have excellent analytical skills as well as organized, neat and attentive to detail

Should be reliable and flexible in working long hours as needs arise.

Preferred Skills: Physically fit and agile and a Team player
