As Waste Management Recycling you will be responsible for maintaining, developing and growing customer sites with regards to the waste disposal, identifying and implementing new and best practices to provide a first class customer service and account management service. As Waste Management Recycling Account Manager/Contract Manager you will also explore new business opportunities by agreeing and developing new and existing services.

The role operates within the constraints of the client`s contract and each solution must meet your employer`s health and safety priority with regards to its people and customers and the environment. Pricing is agreed by the business however there is some negotiation scope with regards to third party suppliers.

This role is a regional, hands-on role involving the use of many personal skills such as relationship management, negotiation and self management. There is a need for innovative thinking and is solution driven. Job Description:

Focused on supporting the Network Design team on our documentation and walkout efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with network designers and walkout teams.

Focused on supporting the Network Design team on our documentation and walkout efforts. The ideal candidate will work closely with network designers and walkout teams. This candidate should be skilled in outside plant splicing and be comfortable working with engineering and splice documentation. A working knowledge of OTDR testing and the Microsoft Office suite will be needed.

The successful candidate will have project management skills, the ability to work independently, knowledge of OSP construction best practices, be detail focused and have high level computer literacy.

This position requires telecommunications experience and the ability to travel between Washington and Oregon. It will also require participation in the Wave Emergency On Call schedule for outage response.

Responsibilities include:

Prepping and fusion or mechanical splice SM and occasionally MM fiber optic cables, in both outdoor and indoor settings

Constructs proper splice cases pressurized and non-pressurized, using all types and sizes of cable, including but not limited to: grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage and sealing

Able to place a mid-sheath splice

Work with Construction PM’s and/or OSP Engineers to perform splicing as directed

Testing and troubleshooting fiber using an OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifier and scope

Provide the OSP Engineers with detailed reports of field splicing activity

Work flexible hours, after hours work which would include nights and weekends

Strong communication skills are absolutely essential as is a cooperative attitude toward co-workers and third party vendors

Maintain a positive attitude and strong work ethic that can provide high productivity with minimal supervision.

On call rotation responding and restoring services for emergency calls, responsible for being on the job at short notice to repair damaged cables until service is restored.

Reviews and interprets underground and aerial cable records in existing records, on maps or in the field

Makes precise recommendations for changes in running fiber optic cables, or provides input into construction methodologies

Participates in engineering, permit and construction processes

Perform all work as necessary to conform to quality control guidelines (includes compliance with requirements outlined in applicable regulations such as: OSHA, FCC, NESC and NEC, etc ; as well as following procedures as outlined in the Installation, Technical, Operations, and Safety Manuals, and Employee Handbook)

Clean, maintain, stock, and secure assigned vehicle and equipment

Deputy Mines Manager (Under Ground Mining) - Central Africa

Qualification: Tertiary Qualification in Mining

Experience: Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in Mining industries, 3 of which must have been at a supervisory / a managerial level

JOB PURPOSE: To manage and coordinate safely and cost-effectively all production related activities pertaining to mining operation at Malemba mine

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND WORK OUTPUTS:

·         In line with the Authority Matrix, establishes and reviews operational policies, processes and procedures to ensure safe, effective and sustainable mine production activities

·         Ensures all operational resources are in place to meet the Mine’s production objectives and targets (including key human resource levels with appropriate competencies and skills) as per the short and long term mine planning

·         Leads and directs the activities of direct reports/ functions via planning and report-back forums and meetings and maintains and encourages cohesiveness, teamwork and morale in the Departments (Mining)

·         Ensures adherence to EHS policies, procedures, programmes, practices and actively supports EHS campaigns across the Mine

·         Ensures risk assessments are conducted on critical equipment, systems, procedures and tasks (drilling & blasting) within the production departments of the Mine and uses the results to advise on policy and procedure updates

·         Approves and controls the budgets required for the achievement of the planned production activities and objectives
