Knowledge and Experience
● A minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience as a practicing lawyer or legal officer in a large corporate.
● Primarily: Experience in the drafting and settling of general commercial contracts including without limitation Memorandum and articles of association, shareholder agreements, memorandums of understanding, mandate and letters of engagement, joint venture agreements, share sale agreements, agreements relating to Mergers and Acquisition, commercial lease agreements, franchise, distributor and agency agreements.
● Secondarily: Experience in the drafting and settling of contracts including without limitation, letters of offer, term sheets, facility agreements (including term loan, project finance and structured finance), hedging arrangements, inter-creditor agreements, security agreements (including corporate and private guarantee, mortgage, pledge, hypothec, surety.

• Ensure Sales and Business development in the Central Africa and surrounding provinces to ensure full utilization of equipment as well as to expand the company’s base of activities and market areas. (Solar Division and Water Exploration Business)
• Contributing to the development of marketing strategies
• Prepare, review and apply of tenders
• Conducting market research on services and Product Company in.
• Designing and implementing marketing plans for company products.
• Create a leads in Mining, Industries and domestic market.
• Develop and maintain contacts
• Working with and as sales team to develop targeted sales strategies.
• Answering client queries about product specifications and uses.
• Maintaining client relations.
• Tracking sales data to ensure the company meets sales.
• Look for new opportunities in the market to develop and diversifying the company business.

• Develop full water solution business vertical (e.g. water infrastructure planning, pumps, water filtration, etc.)
• Develop market for solar division.
• Secure at least 2-3 large government business tenders (with Ministries and/or Provincial governments)
• Build relations for long-term contracts with NGOs/aid organisations.

JOB PURPOSE
Primary role: The Officer – Insurance is responsible for
providing an independent and objective assessment of the effectiveness and
efficiency of the Company’s risk assessment and working with the Insurance
providers to control.
In addition, the Officer will support the company to analyze
all the areas of risk and protect the interest of the company.

Liaisoning:

Work as a liaison between the regularity

Review all relevant loss and regulation
applicable to the company and ensure compliance.

Ensure the business activities are conducted in
conformity with all applicable laws, regulations, internal policies, and
procedures.

Ensure all regulatory permissions are updated
and complied, whichever is required for the business needs.

Achieve the statutory and compliance
requirements
Internal Regulations:
·
Ensure the staff abides by the company policy
and procedure and regulatory laws.
·
Monitor, manage an establish procedures to be
followed during internal and external insurance conflicts.
·
Monitor the latest regulations for any change
and incorporate those changes with the company’s policy and procedures.

Ensure internal regulation are communicated and
followed
Communication:
·
Coordinate and conduct enquiries and
investigation which is deemed to be necessary related to insurance claims.
·
Check the reliability of the process by taking
samples on a regular basis to ensure accuracy (in terms of holding and cash).
·
Ensure the integrity and reliability of
financials provided to the insurance regulators.
·
Maintain an open communication with the
management.
·
All communication with the internal and external
parties should be effective and time bound
Risk Management:
·
Evaluate business activities to assess potent
risk.
·
Contribute to the regular awareness campaign as
per the group policy.

Perform compliance oversight, establishing and
maintaining reports to relevant actions.

Managing overall operations in an insurance
setting.

Connecting specifically with insurance companies
to ensure we have the best services.

Identifying and minimizing threats as part of

Managing collected data and creating
user-friendly reports that can help executives identify company progress,
regression, and any fluctuations in output

Continually reviewing insurance policies

Managing any claims investigations.
