Job description:
Manage day to day end to end accounting operation.
Person should be able to manage minimum 6-7 team of
accountants.
Person should be able to do month/Year closing activities on
his own.
He should have sound knowledge and application of IFRS and
International reporting standard.
He should have managed Management reports (MIS) and can
prepare on his own financial statements like Balance sheet, Income statement
(P/L), Cashflow, fund-flow, Sales report (customer/region wise).
He should be able to manage payroll of company having
manpower more than 200 people. (Both Local national & Expatriate)
He should be able to help top management to maintain
liquidity in the company by way of reporting and continuous suggestions.
Treasury management.
He should be able to prepare Budget plan on his own and then
should be able to control on spending and provide proper variance analysis to
top management.
He should have expert level of proficiency in Excel, Power
point and word (MS office package)
He should be excellent in communication. (Both written &
Oral)
He should be able to do liasioning with external agencies on
his own. (i.e. Banks, government officials, auditor etc.)
He should have good exposure of international accounting and
cross border transactions.
He should be able to manage branch accounting and develop
smooth process between HO and branches.
Support management in efficiency improvement initiative at
organisational level.
Preparation of Product costing and helping sales team in
product pricing and also keeping management updated with any changes in
economical environment which may impact costing of products.
Maintaining all accounting records as per Zambia law.
Ensuring company remains 100% compliant and take care of all
statutory obligation on timely manner.
