Process Operator - Africa

Position Reports To: Plant Manager
Department: Process department
 

Job Purpose:
Basic operating knowledge of pumps, jigs, shaking tables. Need to manage the local workforce to achieve the daily plant production targets. Work in shifts
 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manpower management
• Keen on Operation of Process plant
• Maintain safety at workplace
• Communicating reports to the Plant manager
• Assist in the development of processing plans, methods.
• Able to measure washed ton, mineral grades & % Recovery of product.
• Job safety analysis of workers and machines.
• Good coordination with mining and plant maintenance team.
• Apply a sound basic knowledge of safety, environmental and energy-related issues during the execution of projects

Qualifications, Experience, Skills & Performance Goals
Qualifications:
Graduate in B Sc./B Sc. in mineral processing. Swahili/French speaking candidate (add advantage). Experience
3-4 year of experience in a similar industry/role.
 

Skill

• Good communication & interpersonal relationship skills.
• IT skills like MS OFFICE.
• Disciplined behavior at workplace

Performance Goals

• Planning on process equipment to finish task on plant maintenance.
• Ensure good housekeeping and cleanliness at workplace

Working conditions

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Physical requirements

• Keen on process requirements.
