Executive Advisor – Supply Chain Management (Logistics) - Central Africa

Minimum years of experience & Essentials:

10 to 12 Years Logistics / Fleet Management / Large Distribution Network

Good in commercial, costing, analytical and supply chain Management

 Qualifications: BE/ B.Tech / MBA / PGDBA/ PGMM

Language Known: English / French

Age group: 35- 40 Years

Key Responsibilities

(1) To organize and strategize the storage and distribution of goods

(2) Understanding the whole supply chain management and coordination with multiple functions

(3) To involve in transportation, stock control, warehousing and monitoring the flow of goods.

(4) Ensuring OTIF / DEFOTIS / OTDR

(5) Distribution analysis and warehouse management

(6) Stock analysis and variance report

(7) To improve and develop business performance within the constraints of legislation, fuel costs and rising environmental pressures

(8) To develop business by gaining new contracts, analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions

(9) To allocate and manage staff resources according to changing needs, liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers on need basis.

Education - Essentials- Experience-Exposure - Expertise

(1) Trade qualification is must

(2) Expert in time management

(3) Ability to solve problems and make decisions, as well as think laterally and offer creative solutions to the management

(4) Commercial awareness and numeracy skills

(5) Some degree of IT literacy and the ability to handle electronic data

(6) Ability to manage change and optimize cost

(7) Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team, as well as manage people

(8) Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

(9) Negotiation and analytical skills

(10) A positive attitude to continued learning.
