Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead our ROM Pad team in Central Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to ROM pad management, ensuring feed grade meets business plan targets while controlling acid consumption and impurity levels.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect and analyze mine plans, business plans, and ROM pad data to prepare blend plans

- Ensure accurate sampling and tracking of truck deliveries

- Manage ROM finger handovers, survey volumes, and metal grades

- Direct ground teams to prepare blends based on plant requirements

- Oversee proper mixing, sampling, and record-keeping

- Generate monthly reports highlighting performance, deviations, and corrective measures

- Administratively lead a team of expats and locals

- Coordinate with Process, Mines, and Laboratory teams for smooth operations

- Ability to set up and operate compression molding machines to mold plastic and carbon, graphite, or copper powder products according to specifications

 

Responsibilities:

 

- Set up and operate compression molding machines

- Install dies on press and coat with parting agents

- Set thermostat to regulate temperature of dies

- Weigh and mix premixed compounds

- Press button or pull lever to activate machines to compress compounds

- Remove cured products from mold

- Examine products to determine whether they meet specifications

- Adjust machines as needed
