Estimation Executive
Location: Central Africa
Experience: 5-10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical (Full
time)
The Estimation Executive will be responsible for consistency
and efficient delivery of technical proposal by best industrial practice and
accurate methods, also responsible for driving excellence in health and safety,
ensuring that risks are minimized in the design process.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITY
Upholding the core value of company, integrity and
principle.
Be accountable for accurate estimation and proposal delivery
on time.
Organizes and holds the bid/tender kick-off meeting.
Coordinate, prepare and compile bid submission documents in
relation to tendering/bidding activities, tender questionnaires and
pre-qualifications;
Organize and harness the efforts of all involved departments
relating to tendering/bidding activities
and contract review;
Vendor Registration with clients, Pre-qualification process.
Preparation & Submission of expression of Interest,
Qualification Requirement
On receiving tender, checking qualification requirement,
preparation of tender synopsis.
Point of contact with marketing department for submission of
queries, pre-bid/post-bid meetings.
Preparation and timely submission of all comprehensive
techno-commercial bid to client/consultants.
Able to work independently,
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and part of
important projects
Prepares the bidding documents and proposal documents.
Able to Abstract BOQ/BOM from constructional drawings
Developing the estimation tools and library
Identifies the pre-bid agreements to be completed.
Dependable and sets the standard for a high level of
performance.
KEY STRENGTHS REQUIRED FOR THE POSITION:
Experience in budgeting and proposal of mineral processing
equipment’s, plant, SMPP Works etc..
Knowledge in INCO TERM.
Convey a sense of urgency to internal colleagues and
partners regarding timelines.
Organize and prioritize tasks in an effective and efficient
manner
Be thorough and pay attention to detail.
Analytical thinking skills
Persistence and determination.
PERSON SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
Physically mobile, for access to all production environments
Ready to travel to remote areas periodically to assess
requirements
Willingness and ability to learn local engineering codes and
international codes
Able to manage diversity effectively
SOFTWARE:
Sound Knowledge in Excel and Microsoft.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:
Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical (Full time)
Experience Minimum 7-10 years’ experience in estimation and
budgeting preferably in Mineral
processing industries but not mandatory.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Developing technical library for estimation and proposal
activity.
Making initial contacts for business development
Coordinating and developing relations within various client.
Improving customer relations with known existing customers.
Set stretch target for self and work to overachieve them
Handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
