Job description:

We need someone dedicated for operations who have sound knowledge from similar industries.

This will be a new position intended to help streamline operations and increase company efficiency and growth.

Daily report shared with Mr Gordon and 2-3 times weekly call/discussion

Develop HSE culture and develop and oversee HSE dept.

Prepare and develop the ground team (i.e. operators, drillers, etc.). Motivate operations team to achieve cost effective results.

Develop training programs and guidelines/SoPs for ground teams to follow to improve uniformity, quality, and efficiency of work across all sites

Proper project planning and execution within cost and timing.

Control on M&T Dept., Planning of consumables and spares, Prepare efficient BOQ for each project.

Integration into team as a member of the core committee.

Full oversight of the Garage and Maintenance dept, Operations dept, and HSE dept.

NP improvements assessed through a review of line-by-line costs, i.e. material utilization, direct labour, spares and consumables current usage/replacement/ratios vs improvements. Planning and usage/ROI of any additional rigs purchased.

Get update of all assets we have in running condition (Rigs, Vehicles and tools & accessories).

Build relation with all Non-Group Clients. Present how you will reduce inventory, costing in different drilling.

Execution of franchise model. Develop project/site-wise reporting formats and analysis formats to gather and analyse data of each project.

Make sure all team members are ready with HSE system. Make sure all rigs and equipment’s, performance is optimizing. What new business you can propose related our business or interesting to DRC Market, including for water purification, CSR models, etc.

Start preparation for ISO 9001 (Quality management system) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety management system).

SoPs to be in implementation and being tracked and monitored across sites.

This person will be part of the Core Committee once formed. He will lead the Operations’ department, including all types of drilling (core drilling, blast hole drilling, water well drilling). He will also oversee and manage the Garage and Maintenance departments. He will work coordinate with the Stores dept.

Management skills, Analysis of performance, costing, Knowledge of drilling, HSE and teamwork expertise is most important.
