Position Description

·         Responsible for management and technical excellence of the metallurgical plant.

·         Managing the operations to achieve a high level of metallurgical & operating efficiency.

·         Responsible for continuous process improvements and achieve production targets within budgeted.

·         Responsible for manpower skill & equipment health development.

MAJOR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (List the major areas covered by your job) Key Responsibility

Cost Effective Operation

·         Evaluate current and potential processing methods and develop innovative and cost effective operating methodologies to improve and sustain optimum ore and reagent consumption.

Leadership & Support

·         Establish, monitor, and analyze key metallurgical performance indicators of process operations and recommend corrective actions to the operations team.

·         Provide leadership, guidance, support and back-up to all team members to increase efficiency and achieve targets.

·         Provide direction to management team in the General Manager’s absence.

·         Provide support to finance team in analysis of cost effective operation.

Productivity

·         Ensure utilisation of workmen and equipment’s skills & efficiency to delivery targeted production with in budgeted limits.

·         Ensure all equipment’s’ preventive and post maintenance practices is being followed as scheduled.

Planning

·         Production & budget planning for entire operations.

 

Engineering

·         Ensure plant Metal Balance (Solid, Liquid, Solvent, Water & Acid) is appropriate wrt to Ore feed characterization.

·         Ensure plant flow diagram is constructive to achieve highest throughputs of all steam to achieve production targets.

·         Support plant maintenance team to monitor and maintain the key equipment health and safety.

EHS

·         Ensure appropriate facilities, procedures and workforce competence to achieve legal compliance, incident prevention and achievement of tasks in a safe and environmental sustainable manner.

Senior Supervisor: Vehicle Maintenance (HEMM) - Central Africa

Location: Central Africa

Years of Experience: 14-20 Years

Position Reports To: Vehicle maintenance manager

Accommodation: Bachelor

Job Description:

·         Job purpose: for work development, timely maintenance of all vehicle and equipment, we buy new vehicle also.

Role and responsibilities:

·         Regular maintenance of all light and heavy vehicles.

·         Responsible of all light and heavy vehicle preventive and schedule maintenance.

·         Keep all vehicle maintenance record and timely submit report also.

·         Responsible of all break down. He have to attend all break down.

·         Trained all local workshop staff and guide them.

·         Routine inspection of all vehicle.

·         Maintain all maintenance related documents like job card, history file of vehicle, 5000 k. m service records, SMR service report, check list.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

10th pass or ITI in automobile.

Preferred Skills

Good technical knowledge and experience in light and heavy vehicle maintenance.

Process Engineer (Copper)- Central Africa

Years of Experience: 7 to 10

Age Range: 30 – 35 Year

Position Reports To: Head Of Operations

Job Description

Job Purpose:

Responsible for plant operations, control manpower and deliver production targets.

Role & Responsibilities

·         Plan and execute production & quality targets.

·         Monitor and control process KPI’s to ensure product quality is maintained to standards.

·         Cooperate to service departments on planning and execution of shut down and start up activities.

·         Closely monitor that equipment’s and circuits SOP are being followed.

·         Responsible for change in management according to resource management.

·         Responsible for fulfilling production targets with in budgeted range.

·         Command on SX & EW operation and operate circuits at maximum efficiencies.

·         Preparation of monthly &yearly budgets and support management on cost effectiveness.

·         Train local workmen on day to day activities.

·         Reporting to management on day, monthly and yearly process performances.

·         Preparation of MIS operations.

·         Responsible for Quality, Safety, Health and Environment of equipment and manpower.

·         Execute production schedules and finish jobs in time frames.

·         Coordinate with inter departments and complete work order in scheduled time frames.

·         Supervise shift workmen and follow-up assign tasks.

·         Ensure HSE standards are being followed while execution of process and maintenance activities.

·         General housekeeping and 5S activities.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

·         Bachelor in Chemical engineering.

·         Minimum 7 years’ experience in SX & EW Operations.

Preferred Skills

·         Expertise on SX & EW.

·         Proficiency on plant metal balances.

·         Good communication skills – verbal & written.

·         Computer operational knowledge - MS Word & MS Excel.
