Job purpose:
Looking for
a Stock Manger for its food chain restaurants in Central Africa, there is one
shop wit two kitchens. One shop is specialized in flame grilled chicken and the
specialized in pizza cuisine (on the wood). The vision of the company is to
expand it shop count all over the DRCAS we have master license two franchises.
Role and responsibilities:
The stock
manger is responsible in following up on a daily basis on the shop and warehouse
stock, he should be familiar with ERP system in the food industry (we are using
GAAP system) as all the stock and reports should happen from there. He will be responsible
in assessing the recipes of the whole menus and following up on stock
consumption based on the sales report. Any stock shortage or additional stock
must be reported to the shop manager right away and he should establish a daily
reporting system for top management. Physical stock is very critical in our
business and we will need it on a daily basis, monthly reports should be
developed and by the first week of the month, the full repot on stock
consumption and costing should be reputed to top management in order too
understand the cost of sales. Targets on cost of sales will be given to the
stock manager and it is his duty to follow up in order to make sure no discrepancy
arises and if any, it is properly reported and justified.
Qualification and education requirements:
The employee
should have minimum 5 years of experience in the food industry and have worked
in similar fast food and fast moving items in stock management. Very good
knowledge of stock management techniques and improvements.
Preferred skills
Computer skills
are mandatory (Microsoft office and emails), and ERP skills are mandatory (preferable
GAAP systems but other ERP experience would be fine)
