The Proposal & Estimation Engineer will assist to
Tendering Managers in preparing proposals and cost estimations for new tenders
/ inquiries of clients of various sectors such as Mining Industries, Govt. and
private sector. This role may require travel to customer sites for site visit.
Main Accountabilities:

Receive tenders / RFQ specifications.
·
Monitor, respect and adhere to the tender
deadlines.
·
Communicate with various departments to request
engineering and/or material quotations and necessary documentations required to
be submitted along with Proposal/BID.
·
Liaise with external suppliers, prepare high
quality scopes of work, submit RFQ to suppliers, review, and adjudicate
proposals received.

Study and Evaluate Engineering Drawings,
Technical Data sheets and prepare BOQ

Doing feasibility assessments and site
inspections.

Draft Technical proposals for review with
Tendering Manager & Management for approval.

Interpret technical documents / specifications,
drawings, Safety documents, QC/QC documents etc. to aid in the building of

Relevant Experience – 5 to 10 years
Project costing or similar estimating experience is
essential.
Supply Chain / Purchasing experience will be beneficial.
