Job Purpose We are looking to employ an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager for our business line mining in Central Africa. Our Offer Exciting technical and market environment High responsibilities in various themes Collaboration with a globally acting team Attractive and performance driven salary Social security benefits of a modern company Individual training opportunities Responsibilities Sales and Technical Service Recommend and execute the strategy for the Sub-Sahara region Convert existing leads into profitable and sustainable sales Seek new customers and customer opportunities Focus on specialty chemistry, i.e. value-based selling Develop strong relationshipsat all levels within the customer organization Prepare complete, clear and convincing technical and commercial quotes and proposals Coordination / Communication Integrate in the local mining communities and develop customer intimacy Report on competitive activity, prepare forecasts of short and long term business potentials Strategic account planning: prospecting, active cross selling, order fulfillment Practice a systematic selling process Contribute to the regional mining team by sharing information, experience and opportunities Continues Improvement / Efficiency Increase Consult with multiple resources and departments, understanding the customers´ business and continually positioning our products to deliver solutions Track market trends; gathering intelligence concerning customers and competitors Manage customer projects Requirements Minimum of a bachelor degree in chemical engineering or chemistry or metallurgy with commercial experience or bachelor’s degree in business &administration with proven technical experience. Minimum 8 years work experience in specialty chemical sales, preferably connected with the mining industry. Experience in selling to multiple African countries. Excellent overall computer skills (MS Office). Fluent in English, second language is a plus. Ability and willingness to travel extensively.
