Techno-Commercial Executive - Sales & Business Development (BD) [Solar (OGS), Drilling, Water (RO)]

Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Sales:
Assist in the preparation of all pre-approved tender
submissions [administrative, financial and follow up with technical teams] and
contract documents in order to submit in a timely manner.
Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through market
analysis, networking, business development, referrals, and cold calling.
Conduct sales presentations and product/solution
demonstrations to potential customers.
Identify and analyze customer needs and provide suitable
off-grid solar and drilling solutions respectively [VS1].
Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations and
contracts on award of tenders/purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales and BD targets and
prepare daily/weekly reports with KPIs as well as qualitative assessments.
Marketing:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote solar
products, drilling solutions and services.
Create and manage marketing campaigns, including digital
marketing, social media, email marketing, and traditional marketing methods.
Conduct market research to identify new industry trends,
market requirements, and competitive landscape.
Manage and update the company's website and social media
profiles.
Analyze marketing campaign performance and optimize
strategies for better results.
Customer Relationship Management:
Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers
to ensure repeat business and long-term customer satisfaction.
Provide excellent customer service, including handling
inquiries, complaints, and follow-ups and interact with other internal
departments as required
Educate customers about the benefits of solar energy and the
specifics of our products.
Collaboration and Reporting:
Collaborate with the technical and installation teams to
ensure customer requirements are met.
Provide regular sales and marketing reports to the
management team.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and
industry events.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or
a related field.
Proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the
renewable energy or solar industry.
Strong understanding of sales principles and customer
service practices.
Excellent communication [French & English; local
languages added advantage], negotiation capabilities, and presentation skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Ability to work independently and as part of an
interdisciplinary team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Desired Skills:
Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Knowledge of the off-grid solar industry and related
technologies, reverse osmosis (RO), and/or drilling.
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Willingness to travel as needed.
