BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE
Location: Vadodara, Gujarat, India
SHIFT TIMING: 6:30PM TO 3:30AM
EXPERIENCE: 3 TO 4 YEARS
Roles and Responsibilities
• Handle
all aspects of the Business Development process including working with
management team to identify and evaluate market, new targets and implement
strategic sales plan
• Analyzing
the company’s needs, showcasing our expertise and value proposition, explaining
advantages and setting appointments for closing the sale
• Achieve
monthly departmental objectives by working closely with BD Manager
• Identifying
target clients, Build contacts with potential clients to create new business
opportunities
• Initiate
sales process by cold calling, speaking with potential customers and
understanding their specific software/application related requirements
• Using
different online bidding portals (Upwork, Freelance) to generate qualified
leads
• Maintain
knowledge of all products and service offerings of the company
• Plan
approaches and pitches (Work with team to develop proposals, presentations that
speak to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives).
• Present
new products and services and enhance existing relationships
• Work with
technical staff and other internal colleagues to meet customer needs
• Using
knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s
unique selling propositions
• Keep
prospective client database updated, support in writing new business proposals
• Maintain
knowledge of all product and service offerings of the company
• Arrange
meetings for senior management with prospective clients
• Follow
company guidelines and procedures for acquisition of customers
Requirements:
• Excellent
communication and negotiation skills
• Hands-on
experience in generating business via portals like Upwork, Guru, Freelancer,
Upwork, Peopleperhour, etc. Ability to be involved in Pre- Bids, Follow ups,
Out beating Competitor bids
• Must have
knowledge about IT Services, Custom software, Mobility and latest IT trends
• Must be
able to propose technical solutions based on .NET, PHP, Mobile, OpenSource
Mobile technologies for websites, intranets, crms, ecommerce, business
applications, etc.
• Excellent
at closing projects and showcasing IT portfolio of projects
• Develop
proposals and respond to client requests for proposals (RFPs), by re- searching
and writing standard and customized proposals
• Excellent
and negotiating terms, building formal agreements, contracts and proposals
• Effective
skills in key account management / portfolio management and client retention
• At least
2-3 years experience in similar domain and Industry
