Piling & Water Well Commercial & Technical Manager
Location: Central Africa
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering,
Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline; Master’s degree preferred.
Experience: 8–12 years of experience in piling and
foundation construction, including water well/drilling operations, with at
least 3–5 years in a managerial or lead role.
Piling & Water Well Commercial and Technical Manager
will lead planning, supervision, and management of all piling, foundation, and
water well drilling works, ensuring technical excellence, safety, quality, and
timely delivery in coordination with project teams and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include supervising all piling and
water drilling methods, reviewing designs and geotechnical reports, conducting
pile load tests, and developing work plans, schedules, and resource allocation
for sites while monitoring cost and progress. The role leads a
multidisciplinary team, trains junior staff, enforces HSE standards, conducts
site audits, and maintains complete technical documentation. The manager also
drives process improvements, mitigates execution risks, and supports strong client,
consultant, and contractor relationships.
The ideal candidate is a Civil/Geotechnical Engineer with
8–12 years’ experience in piling and foundation construction, including 3–5
years in a managerial role. Strong expertise in drilling and piling techniques,
project planning, cost control, HSE regulations, and use of tools like AutoCAD,
MS Project, or Primavera is essential, along with leadership, communication,
and problem‑solving skills under pressure.
