About the Role:

In this exciting role, you will leverage your combined technical expertise in earth moving machines and sales experience to drive business growth for Karmaa Solutions. You will be responsible for visiting mines, building relationships with key decision-makers, understanding customer needs, proposing solutions, generating leads, closing deals, and managing customer accounts throughout the sales cycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with workshop, procurement, and mining teams at customer mines.
• Conduct regular site visits to understand customer requirements, challenges, and pain points.
• Provide solutions by effectively promoting Karmaa Solutions' range of earth moving machines.
• Generate leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
• Manage the sales cycle from initial contact through order placement and delivery.
• Track and follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain clear communication with customers regarding order status and payment.
• Prepare regular reports in accordance with company formats.
• Conduct market research and monitor competitor activity.
• Provide timely information to management on market developments and trends.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and service of earth moving machines.
• Strong understanding of the technical aspects and functionalities of earth moving machines.
• Proven sales experience with a track record of exceeding targets.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong work ethic.
• Proficient in computer applications and MS Office Suite.
• Fluency in English and Hindi is a must.
• Prior experience working in Africa is a significant advantage.
• Willingness to relocate to the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) without family.
