Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Camp Boss to manage the overall operation of our offshore accommodation facility in Central Africa. The successful candidate will have a strong background in facility management, staff supervision, and catering services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management:
- Supervise housekeeping staff and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ensure all facilities are properly maintained and in good working order
- Staff Management:
- Oversee camp personnel, including training, scheduling, and conflict resolution
- Address disciplinary issues and ensure staff compliance with policies
- Catering and Food Services:
- Ensure high-quality meals are prepared and served in a timely manner
- Plan menus, manage inventory and supplies, and ensure health and safety compliance
- Health and Safety:
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety protocols
- Ensure personnel are trained in emergency procedures and first aid
- Budgeting and Inventory Control:
- Manage camp budget and resources, tracking expenses and controlling costs
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment levels
- Administrative Duties:
- Maintain records, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics for personnel transfers or rotations
