Leading *diversified group* based in *Central Africa*

· Candidate must have experience from Oil & Gas, drilling, Construction, Renewable Energy, Mining or similar
· Performs reporting, risk assessments and auditing and observes all HSE related activities and policies within the site
· Experience of implementing and maintaining HSE systems across an Integrated Facilities Management business
· Ensures operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner and in conformance to federal, provincial and company safety regulations by integrating and implementing company and third-party HSE policies and procedures
· Performs post-incident investigations and communicates with the HSE Team and others until all action items have been closed
· Files HSE documents and participates in job risk analysis and continual improvement
· Manage the HSES team to achieve control, monitoring and implementation of HSE and governance in line with company policies and procedures.
· Develop, maintain and improve the business Integrated Management System to underpin HSE and operating standards
· Maintain a contract risk register, reviewing HSE risks and escalating where appropriate
· Support the training and development of all staff to ensure awareness and understanding of HSE Standards and the relevance to business objectives.
· Implement the Crisis Management Plan across all locations and ensure robust line of escalation exists.
· Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process; provide trend analysis to Contract Management Team to support and provide focus for driving positive behaviours and culture within the business.
· Develop Business Continuity Plans for all Service streams and participate in any table top or live exercises to test the plans.
· Monitor, audit and report on contract HSE performance and provide assurance Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems; implement and audit to achieve compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
· Provide leadership to support the management of supply chains and compliance with HSE standards through ‘Point of Work Assessments’, audit and review of operating practice and systems.
· Ensure appropriate resources are provided to support a compliant business and to identify any systemic weaknesses.
· Robust knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety and Environmental legislation & best practice and appropriate industry specific qualifications (NEBOSH, Auditor Training)
