Job Summary:

 

We seek an experienced Due Diligence Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and risk management for our leading mining and mineral processing company in Central Africa.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

1. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and laws.

2. Conduct due diligence and risk assessments.

3. Develop and implement compliance processes and procedures.

4. Monitor and report on compliance to stakeholders.

5. Manage external grievances and penalties.

6. Liaise with regulatory entities.

7. Review and ensure updated regulatory permissions.

8. Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

9. Support empanelment with government bodies and regulatory agencies.

10. Ensure Code of Conduct compliance for Investors and Senior Management.

 

Requirements:

 

1. 10+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or auditing.

2. Experience in handling compliance in banking, financial services, NBFCs, IT, Real Estate, or similar industries.

3. Knowledge of ISO and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

4. Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks.

5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 

Desirable Skills:

 

1. Certification in compliance, risk management, or auditing (e.g., CCO, CCEP, CRMA).

2. Experience with ISO certification processes.

3. Familiarity with Central African regulatory environment.
